During the next two months, we can expect to hear talk about the upcoming General Election (Tuesday, November 5, 2024) 24/7—in the media and, probably, in your conversations with friends and family. The most important thing to keep in mind is that every person’s vote counts. Your vote matters! The following are key dates to keep in mind to ensure that you can express your voice with your vote:

  • September 17, 2024 National Voter Registration Day
  • October 21, 2024: Last Day for Change of address
  • October 65, 2024: Last day for voter registration
  • October 26, 2024: Last day for Board of Elections to RECEIVE application or letter of application by mail or online portal to vote via early voting “by mail” or absentee voting
  • October 26-November 3, 2024: Early Voting for the General Election
  • November 4, 2024: Last day to visit your board of elections in person to apply for an absentee or vote by mail ballot
  • November 5th: Election Day
  • Last day for postmark of your absentee or “by mail” ballot (must be received by board of election by 11/12)

Voting is our civic responsibility. We can all help shape the country we live. Get out and vote!
