Community Programs
Johnathan Wilson, Maintenance Supervisor
Jonathan is recognized for being an outstanding member of this agency. He is extremely reliable and productive, meeting the needs of multiple houses in a timely manner. Jonathan has gone above and beyond to ensure the rooms were ready for the new individuals at Gramatan House, showcasing his hard work ethic, positive attitude, and professionalism.
Children, Youth & Families Division and Jewish Programs
Jessica Sansone, Project Coordinator (MHFA/Training)
Jessica is being recognized for her wonderful impact since joining the agency under the MHFA/Training Program in March 2023. She has built strong relationships with community partners and successfully developed a County Wide Resource Guide. Jessica consistently introduces innovative ideas, resolves problems, and demonstrates independent work, all of which make her an outstanding candidate for this award.
The Fifth Estate
Daryosh Ahmadi, Human Resources Coordinator
Daryosh is being recognized as someone who goes beyond the call, exemplifies our mission, works with all staff with a service-minded disposition, accepts challenges, and provides solutions. He has been instrumental in all the technical changes that have taken place—specifically with ADP. His technical savvy has proven to be a great asset in the transition to an online platform, and he continues to search for efficiencies.
Clinical Division
Ashley Cabrera, Coordinator of DSS Satellite Program
Ashley is being recognized for her strong clinical work at WJCS, where she moved up from a clinician to running the DSS Satellite office in Yonkers. Under her guidance, the staff has expanded, and she successfully offers non-billable groups to address client needs. Ashley also oversees social clubs, assists in training new staff, and provides valuable support and insight to her colleagues.
Anthony (AJ) Canonico, Team Leader/Program Director
AJ is being recognized for being a passionate, skilled, and conscientious team leader, program director, and clinician for those who are struggling with a first episode of psychosis. AJ has been a great addition to the staff at WJCS, joining in February 2022 as the Program Director of OnTrack NY. During AJ’s short tenure, the WJCS OTNY program has grown in census and is currently at the maximum number of participants.
