Advanced strategies for eliciting change talk and advanced OARS will be provided. Participants will hone their skills by participating in experiential exercises with other MI practitioners who will provide strength-based feedback. A working camera and microphone are required for this training.

Method: Lecture, experiential practice, discussion.
Learning Objectives:
• Understand and differentiate between high skill level and low skill level OARS
• Understand and demonstrate advanced strategies to elicit change talk and address verbally aggressive and/or combative behaviors in clients.
• Demonstrate the ability to provide feedback to an MI learner is a manner that facilitates skill development.
