TransParentcy – Youth
TransParentcy is Westchester County’s only group for transgender and gender expansive youth ages 13-21, with a simultaneous but separate support group their parents/caregivers. Youth and caregivers meet separately so that everyone has an opportunity to discuss topics that concern them with their peers. Youth can come without an adult and vice versa. TransParencty is where you can find support to navigate difficulties and celebrate successes throughout the journey of being or raising a Trans or Gender Non-Conforming youth, and share resources, experiences, and knowledge with each other. Jewish Mindfulness Meditation
ZoomIn these ongoing groups, learn the essential skills of Mindfulness Meditation within a Jewish context and be introduced to other traditional Jewish contemplative practices. No prior meditation experience is required. No sessions for holidays or when synagogues are closed. Every Monday, 9:30-10:45 AM Suggested donation: $5-10 Every Thursday, 9:30-10:45 AM Suggested donation: $5-10 Facilitated by Ruth Rosenblum, LCSW, certified meditation teacher. Living the Legacy: Our Encounter with Parent Loss
ZoomWe will create a safe space in which to share the grief of losing parents, the sustaining memories, and the legacies that survive.
